some internet related bits and pieces

I’d meant to do this some time ago, but it seemed to make more sense to wait until now. I’m going to post a series of articles over the coming week about the songs on the EP and what it was like to make them from a variety of angles. But in the meantime…

There’s not an influx of new followers, but as the site basically acts as a homepage, it seemed like a good idea to collect all of the different ends of the ‘internet presence’ all in one place. This is the main hub, as it were, but there’s definitely plenty to be found in these other places as well. So please have a look through and follow/like things if you’re at all inclined.

Much in the way of bio information and so on can be found in these places , but essentially, A Quiet End is about music, but has hopes for much more.

All of the links below can also be found on the ‘Networks’ panel to the right, it will likely be added to in the next little while too, so I’ll post updates as necessary.

Blip.fm (this is a lot of fun, new music lovers should should definitely check it out.)

Please email aquietend@intimatehistory.com with any questions, comments, or really anything at all. Also if you’d like a free digital copy of the EP, definitely get in touch.

And of course, the EP itself can be found here via bandcamp.

As well, the song ‘Birthplace St.’ was featured this past weekend on BlogTO’s new music column The Neighbourhood Mixtape. Check it out here. There’s some other excellent songs up there as well, including a new one from Foxes In Fiction and an absolute wonder by Jennifer Castle.
