early versions

Leading up to the music being released later this week, I wanted to post some different things that have been a part of the path in getting there over the last while.

This was an early consideration for artwork that was made by my friend Laura Moses. Instantly it jumped out as being something that had a lot potential and maybe would be used somewhere. Ultimately, there was something about the ‘feel’ that wasn’t quite right. I love the piece, and what it evokes, but it just didn’t seem to fit with the music. I’d thought it might find a home down the road, that the starkness and symbolism is something that would fit better with other still-gestating batches of material. In posting it here, I guess I may be deciding not to do that; but also, I enjoy it too much not to share.
